This week (6th. – 12th. May) has been declared “U.N. Global Road Safety Week”(do check their website www.unroadsafetyweek.org) therefore I thought it noteworthy to mention that there was a road safety seminar a couple of weeks ago. One of the major questions concerned the use of ‘cell ‘phones while driving. While the majority of panelists said do not use them, one man said he was not against answering a ‘phone while driving. When prompted as to why, this cretin responded with “It might be business!” I will further mention that I understood this moron to be a highly placed insurance executive – note to this man’s C.E.O. Fire him! Of course what this idiot should do, and anybody-else with the same thought, do what I do, pull off the road, STOP and then answer the ‘phone.
