Barely three weeks since Tim Rider made his now infamous comments, at the Royal Fidelity BEO, for which we understand our former Deputy Prime Minister and now Leader of the Opposition, complained bitterly to you, you may be interested in the latest statistics on “Corruption in the Bahamas” which allegedly reached an all-time high under Mr. Davis’ corrupt Government, which has led us to where we are now.
The RBC employee that I complained of to you in August of last year, was chosen to chair BPL’s Board, by Mr. Davis’ Government.
My own family business on Bay Street, last year sent a messenger to RBC Main Branch, to change a $100.00 bill into 100 $1.00 bills, and got back a bundle of 100 $100.00 bills. A $9,900.00 mistake in our favour.
Mr. Rider was speaking truth on both points I’m afraid, and has done a great service to the Bahamas.
