So Rev. Sherlyn Hall has not been asked to stay until after the election since his contract expired the day after his Advance Poll debacle last week.
He's been temporarily replaced by Mr. Charles Albury, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, who's said to have previous experience at the parliamentary registration office.
Nothing has been said about ensuring the Register of Voters is in proper order now with election polling just three days away.
Elections are no small feat to begin with, but to have so many controversial issues just prior to the poll is unusual and disconcerting to say the least.
This does not bode well for free and fair elections.
