Please allow me a little space to make a heartfelt plea to Minister Glenis Hanna-Martin, responsible for the Post Office and ask “When the h*ll will you get this total disaster sorted out?” Last Friday (20th. January, 2017) I received some mail from Royal Fidelity, of 51 Frederick Street, Nassau in my Post Office Box in the Main Post Office, mailed on the ….. 2nd. December, 2016!!! That is 7 weeks to travel a few yards in the same building!! I was complaining when my first Christmas Cards were received from friends and relatives in England on the 23rd. December and a few more arrived on the 5th. January, also from the UK and Europe. But really this Fidelity letter takes the cake!
On another piece of mail, a friend arranged to have a heavy car part mailed from China – you know that country on the OTHER SIDE of the globe – to his home in West Palm Beach, it took 13 days to be delivered after travelling many thousands of miles in just less than two weeks, but 7 weeks to travel a matter yards in the Bahamas!
I’m very sorry Mistress Martin but this is completely and totally unacceptable
