A friend asked the other day if I could remember the total trade done with Florida by people/businesses in The Bahamas.
For some reason one billion dollars came to mind, so I went back to the trusty Enterprise Florida web site to confirm. Sure enough, in 2014, the latest data on the site, the total was $1,013.7 billion. See the details by clicking on "Bahamas" here… or download the image as a pdf here…
Although trade was down some 7% from 2013, The Bahamas is one heck of a trading partner for the State of Florida.
