FNM Chairman Michael Pintard says he expects that the party will hold a convention prior to the election but it would be, in all probability, a nonvoting event in which none of the party’s executive positions would be open to challenge.
This statement typifies the turmoil that the Opposition has been embroiled in since the last election. A convention with the executive positions on the line is precisely what is needed to put to rest this asinine power struggle that benefits only the ruling party.
It brings to mind two packs of potcakes fighting over a bone with the third pack yapping and running around the furball hoping to steal it.
This is nothing more than another glaring example of the welfare of the country once again being sacrificed on the altar of personal ambition, arrogance and egotism.
