S & P Sovereign Credit Downgrade - One has to laugh out loud, or at least smile broadly, as the Government and Treasury spoke-persons complain that S & P has not given us enough credit for implementation of VAT.
I would imagine that they might have, IF we had used the VAT proceeds to pay down the Sovereign debt, rather than sending teams of “negotiators” to Beijing on first class tickets and pent-house accommodation.
They can fool the Bahamian people easily but other folk have been through this before with very similar governments.
