A few days ago there was an outcry from the idi … err … counsellors and others at a PLP party meeting vociferously complaining that Mr. Renwood Wells stated he would resign from the PLP, in sympathy, if Dr. Andre Rollins was fired. I am very sorry, but I understand through “sip sip” that when this trouble of a signed document blew up, some senior members of the PLP council were calling for Mr. Wells expulsion, so what on earth is the problem?
Of course the matter was further muddied by news of an apparent transfer of Mr. Wells services from the Ministry of Works to the Office of the Prime Minister on half of his Parliamentary Secretary’s salary; when that news broke those same jokers(or counsellors?) on the PLP council reneged on that deal and yet we hear the jokers(or counsellors?) are upset that Mr. Wells might resign!
This beggars belief, and another point to be remembered these very same jokers(or counsellors?) effectively will choose the next slate of PLP candidates for the next General Election!
Oi veh! I’m already getting that icy feeling down my spine.
