Prime Minister Perry Christie (PLP), is reported to have said he is "very much encouraged that we have turned a corner and there is every reason for a positive outlook." Nassau Guardian, October 29, 2013.
This is an interesting observation from the Prime Minister, when virtually every business person one speaks with is projecting further declines.
And with a decline of 28% of Foreign Direct Investments so far this year the PM is obviously just trying to boost spirits.
Maybe he would share the evidence that has encouraged his optimism?
This is obviously just more smoke and mirrors, a "verbal placebo" so we might imagine he's right?
