Re: Smith: BTC is raping The Bahamas.
The Tribune, 21 June, 2012
We now appear to have our very own new, highly unusual, & uniquely Bahamian type of rape ----- one where the alleged ‘victim’ is of age & even gives consent in writing.

Why do some of us buy the politiical rhetoric that businesses rip us of? I've never met a businessperson that sets out with that intention if they hope to remain in buisness. And if it's true in this case, as Dr. Ken points out, we've signed a contract to do business with them. So we consent to the alleged abuse by continuing to use the service.
Furthermore, if Mr. Smith is correct, are we to conclude, by extension, that when the Government owned 100% of BTC they were raping the public? And, since the government still owns 49% of BTC are they also condoning this behaviour?
Politics seems to be getting uglier with Parliaments consent.
