When we were in Memphis earlier this month we got to see Mavis Staples, yes, from the famous Staple Singers at the Beale Street Music Festival, and man what a treat it was.
I apologise for the photo, but it's about the best one I was able to take.
She can still belt it out and has a new CD coming out in June produced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.
