It would help the present government to lift up their view of the Bahamian electorate, especially when they make statements about what they have to do for us. The decision to borrow money has always been met with a jaundiced eye by those who have to foot the bill, but the Bahamian people should not have to put up with “spin” that cannot stand the light of day. Maybe the past administrations had some bills that came due and a loan has to be made; but in light of all the unnecessary hiring and spending that this government has done since May7th , one would have thought that the persons responsible for public relations would have exercised more discretion. It would have been prudent to just go about the business of doing what had to be done.
I have also noticed that the Mercedes was not turned back in. It seems that the opposition is getting the blame for everything the present administration is enjoying.
