I received an e-mail from Mr. Keith Bell, Vice Chairman of the PLP on Tuesday morning with a link to a video using comments by Mr. Hubert Ingraham, Prime Minister and leader of the FNM.
Frankly it's a skilful manipulation of facts by the PLP.
But should we expect more from some in our political class?
One wonders why some politicos would not want to be remembered for contributing to a sensible policy debate rather than this stuff.
I'm surprised Mr. Bell would promote something like this considering his former position as a prosecutor.
Mind you, no political party seems above this at times. It must just be too tempting to let a sound byte slide in an attempt to hear the screams of the crowd.
Whether true or not or in context or not does not matter.
I just keep hoping for a discussion on how to improve public policy. I'm hoping against hope obviously.
