Kent Manno is a native Floridian now living in Budd Lake, New Jersey with roots in Nassau and Cherokee Sound, Abaco (son of Elaine Albury).
A graduate of Washington & Jefferson College in 1982, he joined the faculty and coaching staff of Delbarton School (www.delbarton.org) in Morristown, NJ. Kent is currently the school Librarian, Director of Transportation, Summer Sports Camps Co-Director, and Cricket Club Coach. He also teaches 10th grade European history.
As a coach, he was named Swimming Coach of the Year three times by the Daily Record. Manno led the team to 11 Morris County Swimming Championships and NHC Championship, State Prep School and NJSIAA Sectional Championships. He also coached JV soccer and freshman lacrosse.
An avid reader and computer enthusiast, he is currently researching British colonial history and Bahamian History. In addition, he is focusing on the genealogy of his family in Nassau and Cherokee Sound.
