Mr. McCartney, leader of the latest foray into a new political party, the DNA, has reportedly announced that "God is guiding" his party.
I'm sure in one of the early pages of the Bahamian political handbook there is a note that says a politician must invoke God's name, but even non-christians are starting to feel revolted by this mockery.
By the way, it was Adam Smith, the so called founder of modern economics that spoke about an invisible hand that "guides" the economy. I don't think it was Matthew, Mark, Luke or John or any of the other Biblical scribes.
As if evoking a spiritual leaders name during a political rally is not enough, Mr. McCartney then decides to mix metaphors to confuse things even more.
Seems to be a really steep learning curve involved in this thing called politics?
