The PLP and the FNM
It's interesting that the PLP seem to see something wrong with Mr. Kerzner putting his view forward while approving the Baha Mar project.
What do we expect investors to do when they are forced to suck at the teet of the government trough?
Even so, I'm glad Baha Mar is proceeding. Heaven knows this economy needs a boost from somewhere.
But the real riddle in all this is the FNM and its supporters see wrong in what the PLP do and the PLP and its supporters see wrong in what the FNM do. And guess what? They're both doing pretty much the same thing.
It would be laughable if wasn't so serious.
I have come to see politics as the problem, not the answer. The difficulty is convincing people of this when they're getting or granting "government" favours to the few, paid for by the many.
Unfortunately far too many of us are accomplices to the rot.
Speaking of the rot?
Help me to understand this please.
We kill each other almost daily and it does not appear to matter.
Then the Police shoot someone in an attempt to enforce the law and we riot?
When are we going to understand that if we cloak the criminal in our midst, eventually we will all fall prey?
