A recent Tribune article entitled "Man charged with abusing young boys" reported that a 36 year old man was arraigned before the courts for abusing four young boys. The man was charged with having sex with the four youngsters who are between the ages and 2 and 6.
I cannot put into words on this site, as to the punishment this man should receive if guilty. I will say that the hang man's rope is too easy for him. The man, if guilty and others like him are wild animals and should be treated as such.
I have long heard that child abuse is more prevalent than we would like to believe, however, most cases go unreported.
While I would love to carry out punishment on these individuals, let's look at what God has to say about the treatment of his Children. The Bible Says:
Ephesians 6:4 - And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Matthew 18:6 - But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Jesus himself said in Mathew 19:14 - Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
God's opinion on children is clear.
Since the above individual, and others like him, could not drown himself before abusing children, perhaps it is time to tie blocks to his ankles and drop him off between Nassau and Andros.
