I've been conducting an informal study on the impact of chauffeurs on our politicians here in The Bahamas and the results are quite profound.
When in Opposition, MP's speak as if they are really concerned about sorting things out with the Government.
They say things like, "when we win the government, we will fix..."
When they become a Minister of the government, they say things like, "my government will do so and so..."
The conclusion is that the only difference between being an MP and and Minister of the government creating this "we" and "me" attitude, is a chauffeur.
What do you think?
