Everyone is aware by now that the whole civil service is in a deplorable state and is getting worse.
While the Government is tripping over itself to push the EPA after having "discussions" with the public I beg that you take some time out to direct one or more of your Ministers to give some time to the civil service and please start with the post office and the traffic lights.
In case you are not aware, the main post office has been closing at lunch time for the past several weeks because "we ain't got no air conditioning". We learned this week that the Shirley Street post office is now doing the same thing, for the same reason - what an amazing coincidence! Or is it? The voting public are totally fed up with receiving mail weeks late or not receiving it at all.
The traffic lights that are not constantly flashing or just not working have either been knocked down and not replaced or pointing in the wrong direction. What is particularly disturbing is that the Ministers travel these routes or are they sitting in the back seat reading the Punch and do not even notice?
