Following up on this brief post:
Can someone tell me how many manufacturers in Europe will stop selling product to The Bahamas or how many investors will stop investing here if we do not sign on to the EPA?
Conversely, with the EU threatening to add an 8% import duty on crawfish imports from The Bahamas if we don't sign on, will this prevent Bahamian crawfish exporters from selling to Europe, or will they simply discount their price or find other buyers?
These actions of buyers and sellers are better known as the free market. They transact business every day now without government involvement.
Outside of government mechanisms already in place, like, prevention of fraud and misrepresentation between buyers and sellers, why do we need an EPA to complicate the issue?
