This blogger finds developments in Cuba and Venezuela just fascinating. It is intriguing how the human spirit, that naturally gravitates toward freedom can survive tyrannical regimes.
Not so fast about Chavez and Venezuela I am reminded by one of my friends. Chavez was democratically elected. He is correct, but so was Hitler and then he dismantled the democratic institutions of Germany as Chavez is reportedly doing in Venezuela.
In any event, the following two articles at hacer.org are worth the time to read them.
