In a recent blog, Rick Lowe lamented the fact that there has been no audit of of NEMA's records ($14 million from the taxpayers and a $6 million donation)
In today's edition of the Tribune it was reported that there has been no accounting by Government of the monies collected by the Hospital & Health Care Facilities Licensing Board since 1998. That amount is estimated to be in excess of $9 million.
If Rick Lowe knows and the Tribune knows, does the official opposition know?
Perhaps they do know and have elected to remain as silent about that as they have been about the proposed income tax ((NHI), one of the most important issues this country will ever face.
Why?
Why no accounting and why is the opposition so silent?
Is this all a preview of what to expect if the proposed income tax (NHI) is approved. That would be a lot of money to be silent about.
