Do you ever find yourself constantly complaining about something rather than finding a solution?
Well, that's the case with those (government and Independent M.P's) making an issue over former prime minister Hubert Ingraham's pension.
As you know, the government makes the laws we live under and they are at liberty to change the Act(s) that governs the pension and salary received by Mr. Ingraham and all politicians, retired or otherwise.
However, as previously stated in one of the blogs here: It's easier to complain rather than fix the problem. A problem created by the unintended consequences of legislation put in place by the government in the first place.
In the meantime, don't expect the law to be amended before the election as the present government and their indepependent friends will delude themselves into thinking the Bahamian people don't know they can solve the "problem" they created in the first place, if they choose to.
In business you try to find solutions to problems. In politics you talk about the problems rather than trying to find solutions - paricularly if there is a perceived advantage.
