I just learned with relief, watching the nightly news on ABC, that Maurice Clemmons was shot and killed today by a Police Officer. If the name does not ring a bell, Maurice Clemmons is the thug who executed four police officers in Parkland, Washington.
If we had effective Justice in the world today, including the United States of America and the Bahamas, Maurice Clemmons would either have been behind bars or dead long ago, and four police officers would still be alive.
At least for the families of the victims, they can bring some immediate sense of closure, knowing that justice has been served. God knows there is a big void to fill, especially for the children they left behind. In addition, what additional crimes would this thug have carried out, had he not been shot today?
I feared that Maurice Clemmons would have been arrested and charged with Murder. And we all know where this would lead: Criminal rights, lengthy trials, appeals, protection by the state, cost to the tax payers, etc. etc.
Effective Justice for once! Hats off to the brave officer that delivered this justice.
My prayers to the family and colleagues of the brave police officers that lost their life.
