Disapointments abound, particularly in respect of the increasing animosity the government presents to the business community. They are contradictory in that they need the benefits they reap from business activities, but as evinced by their actions they seek to control, frustrate, interfere and profit personally in the natural growth of business activities that should occur.
The only obstacle to the robust growth we should be experiencing is the government itself. The words government and facilitate should be synonomous and yet never before have they been so disparate. It seems that an air of envy, arrogance or possibly jelousy of the private sector has purvaded every aspect of government at the ministerial level, and yet the civil service sector has quite a strong contingent of pro business personel. Unforunately they cannot practice what they espouse one on one with business people, and we have seen the effects of these clashes between civil servant and government.
The anti business sentiment will die when we the business community kill it.
How? Put aside petty differences and bring pressure to bear on the problem we face. Or live with the senseless decisions that currently spew forth from those who would divide and rule.
