After months of oil companies being demonised as gougers, the price of gasoline at the pumps has dropped more than $1 per gallon this week.
The only comment reported in the press from Mr. Leslie Miller, Minister of Trade and Industry is the fact that this is the largest decrease in history.
Surely, he could have mustered more than that?
It just goes to show how the free market and supply and demand works.
Hopefully we will continue to see the price drop as crude prices decline even more.
This is a perfect example of why we prefer human action to political design.
